This work is the second piece to be inspired by the discovery of a collection of papers belonging to a 19th Century French doctor. Enclosed within an oak frame are sixteen lachrymatories and several original the letters. The bottles are hand-formed in iron rich stoneware clay and decorated by porcelain slip.
