Shoreline 5

Number 5 of the Shoreline series is a collection of thirteen hand-formed Porcelain lachrymatories. Some bottles are treated with green raku glazes made from chromium oxide of varying strengths, and some with a titanium dioxide glaze or a black glaze. In some instances they have been fired three or four times, others have been saggar-fired, all hung from linen cord. Dried seaweed is carried away by the small porcelain boat resting on the top of the rusted steel shelf.
